Elvis was in the Building!

Or I should say, the plural, “Elvi” were in the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, Missouri last week.  That’s right, thanks to Legends in Concert, a national tribute show that entertains thousands here in Branson, a group of Elvis impersonators were invited to the community to share their special tribute to the, “King”.  They wanted to strike an Elvis pose on our Grande Staircase, and they did.  I was able to pose with them, what a thrill.  They were all dripping with that southern charm that the “real” Elvis was so famous for and we maids were swooning with delight!

This will be a short how do you do this week for we must prepare for a spectacular “Ultra” event that is being held at the Branson museum tonight!  Spring is here, prom season is here, spring and summer weddings are being planned, and tonight this promises to be one of the biggies.  More libation and food has been planned for a progressive dinner party throughout the building than any other party in our history.  Guests will be photographed in turn of the century rig, and gentlemen will transform into Titanic officers as well.  This group wants to turn back time and enter the world of Art Nouveau Titanic, and was just the group to accommodate.

This means much planning, from housekeeping making the museum sparkle, even more than usual, Officer Jeremy and Matt are busy painting and creating magical displays, Officer Summer from Touch, our masterful queen of gourmet catering has planned sumptuous offerings, tempting cocktails, all presented in typical Titanic style.  Class and charm will reign supreme.

Our Captain David will be in attendance, I will be there along with a bevy of willing to work maids and officers.

I can only hope that someday that you, my readers can one day attend one of these Titanic Museum parties.  With all the finery, and revelry, it truly takes one back to what the R.M.S. Titanic was designed for, merrymaking to the extreme.

We plan to have many more of these functions, this one is private, but in the future I foresee many parties, tributes, and events coming up for all to enjoy.  After all we are now in the 99th year, heading toward not an iceberg, but the Century Mark!

Have to run, there’s cleaning to be done!
